Longines Cal 645.1 Circa 1975

This watch been not keeping time and it's late by about five minutes a day.

I do not have a watch timing machine, the only thing that I could do is use a Quartz watch and do comparison over time then adjust as require either making it slower of faster by the adjuster on the balance wheel.
The back is removed
Longines Cal 645.1 21 jewels base on original ETA 2890 and a good and reliable movement. I will need to strip this watch and lubricate as necessary and then adjust the adjuster.
Above with the auto winder mechanism removed. The watch above are completely strip and this one is a front remove movement since it has a tab to hold it against the inner case rim.
It's a;ways best to demagnetized the watch first before any adjustment.. because it's it is adjusted and just happen the watch spring are magnetised then it will makes things much worst.
There you go a very simple and elegant watch..I wish it has a second hand.. :)
