Citizen 6650A - Date Wheel Not Moving

This Citizen 6650 came in with date not moving and crystal badly scratched. It is an easy repair job and my only worries is spare availability.

On dismantling the front, found the problem . The date wheel was damaged. Few teeth from the wheel missing as circle and need replacing. Citizen part number 103-75 for caliber 6650

This wheel is made from plastic, it's obvious that if a watch has plastic parts they are not suppose to last long.

The replacement crystal I just use is a normal mineral glass by Sternkreuz size 218 and a direct fit except it does not have the decorative markings.

Will update in the repair progres, currently I am  waiting for parts.
